Fisher himself is just two losses away from tying Dan Reeves for the most defeats ever by an National Football League head coach.
LA Rams legend Eric Dickerson has vowed he won't return to watch his former team play at the Coliseum as long as Jeff Fisher is head coach.
Dickerson reiterated that the conversation changed only after he stood up to Fisher and said he doesn't have the right to tell him what he can or can't say about the Rams.
Demoff called Dickerson on Monday to try to set the record straight, but Dickerson was at a barbecue and didn't answer.
The Rams moved back to Los Angeles in the off-season after spending the previous 20 seasons in St. Louis. He later said that person was Fisher.
"He's welcome", Fisher said. But as I told him in the conversation, you can't have it both ways.
We moved halfway across the country, then had OTAs in Oxnard. That's just common sense.
Cornerback Lamarcus Joyner said Rams players were looking forward to playing the Patriots. "We welcome the tradition and the history", Fisher said. Show me what you've done. You're not going to be talking about the football team, talking about our team, talking about my coaches, expecting to get things from this football team.
On Wednesday, he gave us a glimpse into why these problems might exist. "We're not going to do that ..."
Rams punter Johnny Hekker said players were not uncomfortable with Dickerson on the sideline.
December could very well be Fisher's last month as head coach of the Rams.
So let's just say for the sake of argument that Jeff Fisher pays absolutely zero attention to the AFC on a season-by-season basis (which is insane) and thinks Bolden and Woodhead are two of the Patriots' three main running backs.
Oh Jeff, you can never help yourself. "I don't wanna hear that crap!" I'm a frustrated player and a frustrated fan. I am not a little kid.
I'll be blunt. I think it's awesome that Demoff took the time and effort to respond directly to a Rams fan (and it sounds like Nmartin55 isn't the only recipient of that effort). That's all I care about.
It appears that Fisher's future won't lie in the court of public opinion, or based on the hurt feelings of Dickerson, but rather, how the final few weeks unfold on the field. I told him I wore the Rams uniform. You know how many different quarterbacks we've played with.
From 1983-1987, Eric Dickerson rushed for 7,245 yards with 56 touchdowns with the Rams. I don't have my hand out. He tweeted his support of Dickerson and later told ESPN that he didn't know where the message came from, adding: "He's always welcome at practice". Send me something and I will pay it.
