5.2 magnitude earthquake strikes India Nepal border

According to the National Seismological Centre - a unit of the Ministry of Earth Sciences - the epicentre of the quake was in Uttarakhand along the border between India and Nepal. The tremors were caused due to a medium-intensity natural disaster in the India-Nepal border region.
Smaller tremors have since been reported across parts of north India, including the Delhi-North Capital Region.
The Indian Meteorological Department also estimated the natural disaster to be of magnitude 5.2 on the Richter scale. The epicentre has been located close to Dharchula in Uttarakhand and the depth of the quake has been estimated at 10 km.
An natural disaster, measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale, reportedly shook Uttarakhand on Thursday night.
