On Tuesday evening Olympic gold medalist Laurie Hernandez became the youngest ever victor of 'Dancing With The Stars'. Second, IndyCar driver James Hinchcliffe, whom judges have called the best male celebrity on the show, dances with Sharna Burgess, who battled a knee injury during the season. "To stay hungry, to stay humble, she's a testament to that", said Chmerkovskiy, just before he joined Hernandez and fellow dancers on an overnight flight to NY and an appearance Wednesday on ABC's Good Morning America.

Other highlights of the evening included a raunchy dance by Johnson and pro-partner Lindsay Arnold to "Hotel California".

Luckily, Laurie isn't hanging up her dancing shoes just yet. Plus, where is she going to put her mirror ball trophy? Laurie Hernandez and Val Chmerkovskiy went to lift the award. So for the mirror ball, I always loved to dance and my passion was dancing as well as gymnastics.

After the "Dancing with the Stars" winners were announced, Laurie expressed her gratitude to everyone who supported her journey which the gymnast described as a "crazy roller coaster".

Do not read on unless you've seen the "Dancing With the Stars" Season 23 finale, which aired November 22 on ABC. The "redemption dance" is a do-over from earlier in the season, while the freestyle is a fan favorite. Her partner Gleb Savchenko had been battling flu and had missed some rehearsals for the finals.

9 p.m. November 22) the remaining finalists return along with performances by Vanilla Ice, Andy Grammer and Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds; and a preview of the "Dancing With the Stars: Live!"

On tonight's DWTS finale in the last element of competition, the couples will perform a new routine as part of a "24-Hour Fusion Challenge".

Do you think Hernandez deserved to win Dancing with the Stars?

Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews had the results and coming in third place were Calvin & Lindsay, which most of us saw happening. Congrats again to Laurie and Val!
