While Collin Kelly was as excited as any University of MI student to see President Barack Obama speak on campus for the fourth time during his presidency Monday, Nov. 7, the fact that the commander in chief was visiting MI the day before the election was "very alarming".

More than 42.4 million people have already voted.

Clinton was to campaign in Grand Rapids, Michigan, as well as Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Raleigh, North Carolina.

Obama said that people who supported him in the 2008 and 2012 elections need to "trust him" again and go vote for Democratic party.

But Clinton went on to slam the "many troubling things" Trump had said about women, Muslims, Latinos and African-Americans.

It's been called her electoral firewall - if Mr Trump breaches it he could win the election.

"Let's show tomorrow there will be no question about the outcome of this election!" The City of Brotherly Love evening rally included President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, husband Bill, daughter Chelsea and musicians Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi.

"You have the chance to reject a course, divisive, mean-spirited politics that would take us backwards", Obama said. "She won't just tweet".

"I ask you to do for Hillary what you did for me", Obama said.

Trump is also the better choice for president amongst whites with no college degrees, garnering 60 percent compared to 30 percent for Clinton, while she does better amongst white college graduates, 51-41.

"This election is on us".

Her campaign said it would make its closing argument in a 2-minute television ad set to air during NBC's "The Voice" and CBS' "Kevin Can Wait". "If we get out and vote tomorrow, Hillary Clinton will win".

Trump, who sped through five rallies Monday, recalled the rivals he'd vanquished and how far he's come since launching his improbable candidacy.

"Hillary is the face of failure. She's been doing it for 35 years", one anti-Clinton protester said. "We saw an auto industry that was flat on its back roar its way back to break new records brought the unemployment rate in MI below the national average, and across the nation, cut the unemployment rate in half", he said. I don't think so.

"They've bungled the investigation from the beginning", Trump spokesman Jason Miller said on CNN. In most of the swing states that will decide, the race is tight. Trump has been making a strong push there amid narrowing polls. Polling will happen in all 50 states on the same day.

"The numbers there have tightened", Mook said.

The Clinton campaign focused on the places that don't allow early voting. Donald Trump vowed not to make it easy. "But we have ours".

Democrats are particularly encouraged by indications of a surge of Hispanic voters in early voting in Florida and Nevada. He must win almost all of the roughly dozen battleground states up for grabs to take the White House. Trump has 204 votes from states that are solidly in his column or leaning that way.

Obama was to rally voters in Durham, New Hampshire later in the day before joining up with Clinton for a big, star-studded campaign event in Philadelphia.

With national polls showing her retaining an edge, Clinton enlisted allies and A-listers for help at stops in Pennsylvania, Ohio and New Hampshire. New Hampshire only has four electoral votes, but Trump's path to 270 is so hard that votes from smaller states could still be crucial for him. This race will be close here in MI, just like it will be in a lot of parts of the country. Democrats are battling to grab back the Senate from Republicans. Donald Trump vowed he and his supporters would never quit, as he charged into unexpected territory. I know it's been a long campaign. Because I moved our majority to put out a very specific and coherent agenda.
