The tracks are now available for streaming on TIDAL Music.

Lauryn Hill has shared a new version of her 2002 anti-police brutality song "I Find It Hard To Say (Rebel)', now called 'Rebel/I Find It Hard To Say".

Hill wrote "Rebel" about Amadou Diallo, the 23-year-old Liberian-born college student who was shot and killed by four NYPD officers in the Bronx on February 4, 1999.

Lauryn Hill has been rumored to be working on a new album since a year ago but there are no new words on that project.

The song begins: "I find it hard to say, that everything is alright / Don't look at me that way, like everything is alright". If you're not subscribed you can still listen to a 30-second preview. After appearing at TIDAL X: 1015 this past weekend she has put out some new records.

The song carries a haunting relevance in 2016 America.

"Old tune, new version, same context", she tweeted right after.

Hill is now touring alongside Nas, Kehlani, Little Simz, and Noname as part of "MLH Caravan: A Diaspora Calling!", a tour which features "artists throughout the African diaspora". Do yourself a favor and check out their encounter below.
