The second presidential debate and a string of accusations of sexual misconduct have taken a toll on Donald Trump in Florida, according to a new poll that shows crucial independent voters swinging to Hillary Clinton.

His latest complaint of media bias stems from allegations by women that he groped them or made other unwanted sexual advances, after a 2005 video became public in which Trump was recorded bragging about such behavior.

"This election is being rigged by the media pushing false and unsubstantiated charges, and outright lies, in order to elect Crooked Hillary!" he added, the Independent reported.

Meanwhile Trump's falling poll numbers have encouraged his most fiery rhetoric, including his theory that the Clinton campaign will fix the election in favor of his opponent.

Earlier on Saturday he went after Clinton and the media, and to claim again that the presidential race is looking like - in his words - "a rigged election".

Trump also called for Clinton to submit to a drug test ahead of the next presidential debate, telling supporters that he believes she is "getting pumped up".

Trump's visit came just days after First Lady Michelle Obama took aim at the businessman's comments on women during a Clinton campaign event at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester. "You want me to [say] that I think the election in Philadelphia and Chicago is going to be fair?"

The 70-year-old outspoken billionaire Republican nominee, who has been trailing the Democrat in national polls, questioned the physical stamina of Clinton, 68, arguing that she was more energetic during the beginning of their debate last Sunday, but lost her steam by the end of the debate.

"She could barely reach her vehicle, ' " he added. "And at the end.she could barely reach her auto", he said, adding that he was "willing" to undergo drug testing before their next debate on October 19 in Las Vegas. "Why don't we do that?"

He has repeatedly denied the claims, calling the women "horrible liars" and accusing the media of being an agent of the "Clinton machine". But a few days afterward, he told the New York Times: "We're going to see what happens".

"I really believe this is the last chance we have to win". I really don't sit alone that much.

"Our democracy relies on confidence in election results, and the speaker is fully confident the states will carry out this election with integrity", AshLee Strong, Ryan's press secretary, said in an email to BuzzFeed News when asked about Trump's claims.

Trump tweeted on Monday: "Of course there is large scale voter fraud happening on and before election day".

The virulence of Trump's attacks on the Clinton camp have raised concerns about whether the real estate mogul would even acknowledge a defeat and how his legions of fired-up supporters would react should he lose.
