So, does this mean that the rumored event will only cast the spotlight on the All-in-One PC and the rumored Surface Phone? The old mouse sports "Microsoft" while the new Surface Mouse now has the Microsoft company logo.

As for the October 26 event, Foley says that Microsoft will also show off the Surface keyboard and mouse, along with its AIO PC, and will take a moment to showcase Windows 10 devices from various manufacturers.

Microsoft has begun passing out invites to an upcoming event, set for October 26th, in which we expect to see new hardware and an outline of things to come in Windows 10.

Although, the Surface All-In-One PC is expected to be the highlight of the event, Microsoft is expected to unveil future plans of Windows 10 and Xbox One. The patents were all utility patents and not design patents.

Rumours surrounding the latest generation of Microsoft devices have been swirling around this week after pictures of Surface-branded keyboards and mouse were leaked online. In fact, the Surface Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book 2-in-1 were unveiled nearly exactly a year ago. Microsoft is not expected to refresh its Surface Book or Surface Pro 4 devices. However, reports have stated that the hybrid device will sport impressive specs that will make the Surface Pro 5 stand out among the highly saturated tech market.

Other hardware details of the Surface PC remain unknown for now.

Microsoft fans are probably aware that the company recently announced a hardware event for October 26.

Microsoft will kick off the event at 10 a.m. ET (7 a.m. PT) on Wednesday, Oct. 26.

Finally, another possible reason why the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 hasn't been announced is because the Windows 10's second major update called Redstone 2 has yet to be finalized.

We'll be posting and updating the site as well as our social media accounts on the news as its being revealed so stay tuned!
