Mike Pence will stop in Ashland Monday night ahead of Tuesday's vice presidential debate at Longwood University in Farmville, according to Donald Trump's website.

Here's what you can expect.

The debate is slated to run from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

CBSN anchor Elaine Quijano will be moderating Tuesday's debate.

Format: The debate will be separated into nine segments that will last about 10 minutes each, according to the Commission on Presidential Debates. Her experience covering Washington, D.C. politics, as well as presidents and vice presidents, may impact the types of questions she asks and how she deals with the candidates. Responses will largely be two minutes in length, allowing ample time for follow-up and discussion on each topic.

Just like the presidential debates, the moderator is responsible for choosing the questions that are posed.

It will air live on many broadcast and cable networks, including ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, PBS, C-SPAN, CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, Telemundo, and Univision. She is also the first Asian-American to moderate a national debate and the first digital network anchor to do so as well.
