Trump spoke about his Democratic opponent during a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday and imitated Clinton stumbling while getting in her vehicle leaving a 9/11 memorial last month.

He questioned her loyalty and stamina to be US President.

Hillary Clinton is heavily favored to have won the first debate, one that has cost Republican nominee Donald Trump ground in his unfavorability rating, which was at its low before the debate, according to the latest ABC News/Washington Post post-debate poll.

Ticking off a list of world problems, Trump said: "She's supposed to fight all of these things and she can't make it 15 feet to her vehicle".

"So she - she brings up this woman".

The former New York mayor was responding to leaked tax documents obtained by The New York Times that show Trump in 1995 declared such a massive loss in income that he could have legally avoided paying federal income taxes for up to 18 years.

A new ABC News/Washington Post poll provides further evidence Republican nominee Donald Trump's popularity ratings were hurt by his performance in the September 26 presidential debate, though new national polls indicating have yet to surface.

Trump has refused to release his tax records, saying he is under a federal audit.

Without evidence, Trump said at a rally Saturday: "I don't even think she's loyal to Bill if you want to know the truth".

Other polls suggest Clinton may be on a track to regain some of her momentum following the debate.

Clinton kept her pneumonia diagnosis private until she was seen almost collapsing while getting into her vehicle at a ceremony marking  September 11, 2001, attacks in NY.

According to the ABC News/Washington Post poll, while both candidates remain broadly unpalatable to the public, Trump's favorability ratings saw a significant reduction following the debate, whereas Clinton's saw a slight uptick. And why should she be, right? He cited an allegation against the former Miss Universe that she was a "driver in a bank robbery".
