The PlayStation 4 will live on for years and continue receiving great games, regardless of the Pro and how well it does, and there's plenty of awesome gaming ahead for the console.

Sony has just unveiled to the world its new array of next-gen video game consoles with the likes of the PlayStation 4 Pro and the PlayStation 4 Slim. Rumoured for months, the console (previously codenamed the Playstation Neo), will serve as a.5 update on the Playstation 4.

This makes the PlayStation 4 Pro flawless for gamers, less so for those who also want the highest-quality home theater experience possible.

The Slim version is very much the same Playstation 4 console that is already in the market.

The PS4 Pro had quite a few features revealed.

Sony unveiled the PS4 Pro and the PS4 Slim at an event in NY this week. As far as PS4 Pro users, however, the aforementioned patch will be available on November 10th, launching alongside the system itself.

If you want to lock down your PlayStation Pro before the holidays, now is the time to do so. On paper the Scorpio will be 43% more powerful than the PS4 Pro and Penello says that "the performance delta will be obvious". Not only is Sony pushing the idea of 4K gaming, like their competitor Microsoft with the Xbox Scorpio, but they are also pushing HDR gaming. The Xbox One S is $100 less than the PS4 Pro and supports 4K resolution streaming and Blu-ray, but doesn't have the horsepower to play games at 4K. The developers did a lot of work to make the game look good on regular TV, but when HDR is connected it all becomes realistic.
