Lenovo's Motorola will be launching its Moto e3 Power for the Indian market today. The Motorola Mobility was acquired by the China Based Smartphone Manufacturer - Lenovo in 2014. According to the company's social media page, the launch is supposed to take place at 3PM in the afternoon today and there will be a special live-stream for the launch. The smartphone will be exclusively available on the Flipkart and as the teasers have done all the work there are no cards which stay unturned for Motorola.

The Moto E3 Power comes with 5 inch IPS display with 1280×720 pixel resolution. The device is powered by MediaTek's 1.0 GHz quad-core processor paired with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage, which can further be expanded upto 128 GB. The Moto G4 Play has a 5-inch full HD display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage which can be expandable to 128GB via microSD and is being accompanied by a 2800 mAh battery. The Moto E3 Power runs on Android Marshmallow OS.

The new smartphone supports an 8 Megapixel front facing camera, while there is a 5 MP front facing shooter also on board. Initially, the Moto e3 Power went on sale in Hong Kong earlier in August this year while the regular Moto e3 version of the phone was spotted on the company's IFA booth in Berlin. The new smartphone will go against the likes of Xiaomi 3S that packs a huge 4100 mAh battery.

Interestingly enough Samsung has been kind of silent since the launch (maybe they are distracted with the Note 7 recall), but it looks like Motorola has wasted no time.

The battery is the USP of this phone at 3500 mAh, and given the Moto G4 series now has the price points of Rs 9,000 to Rs 15,000 covered, the Moto e3 Power is likely to be priced much lower, probably the Rs 6,999 price tag the "E" series has always got in India.
