Instead of simply keeping all its eggs in its own Window 10 or Windows 10 Mobile basket, Microsoft, either officially or through its Garage skunkworks arm, has been steadily putting out mobile apps that cross the platform divide into iOS and Android territory, ranging from the useful to the insane.

Microsoft is rolling out two updates to Windows 10 on the PC for non-Insider users, while also rolling out one for Insiders in the Release Preview ring.

IT pros maintaining corporate computing environments likely put in the effort to get rid of certain apps, such as Candy Crush or Xbox apps when setting up Windows 10 version 1511 images. This Cumulative Update includes the same fixes as KB3176932 but with an additional fix: Improved download size optimization of updates. The workaround is easier for organizations that downloaded their Windows 10 ISOs from the Microsoft Volume Licensing Service Center. The idea for the app is pretty straightforward but has the potential to be incredibly useful. Despite extensive testing from Windows Insiders, users have reported problems with the OS causing their systems to freeze, reinstall previously removed apps, and kill webcams. Next, they should run a script or a batch file that will remove the unwanted apps at bootup time, before end users start using them.

Good Plan is a Windows phone app that allows students to manage their timetable, organize the tasks they need to complete via a task manager, save their grades and more.

Support for more than 1 person.
